About the course The purpose of the course is to give the participants a thorough introduction to the new version 9 of the BRC Global Standard, which is valid from 1 February 2023. You will thus be able to identify and explain the changes in the standard as well as implement the new requirement elements in your company. The course is held as a combination of theoretical presentations and group work. It is recommended that participants have a working knowledge of the global standard Food Safety Issue 9 and HACCP. The course ends with an exam. This course is part of the BRCGS Professional Recognition Programme. At the end of the course you will be able to: - Explain what is required to meet the requirements of the standard - Identify and explain the changes in the standard from edition 8 - Describe the scope of companies and products covered by the standard - Describe what you can expect from your BRCGS audit - Prepare for an audit according to the standard - Utilize the resource tools available for compliance and support from the BRCGS Target group The course is relevant for everyone who works according to and/or is certified according to the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety, including: - Consultants - Technical managers and employees - Quality people - Auditors - Importers and exporters of food - Operations managers - Persons interested in becoming a BRCGS auditor
