About Risk-based internal audit of management systems Purpose: The purpose of the course is to equip you to plan and carry out risk-based internal audits of your company's management system. The course will focus on strengthening your skills in planning and delivering audits based on your ability to uncover "holes" in the management system, so that it is ensured that the internal audit contributes to continuous improvements and changes in the company based on the company's risk profile. Contents: - High Level Structure and risk-based audit - Risk-based approach to audit – why and how - The audit process - Risk-based planning - Link between internal audit plan and the company's risks - Mapping of the company's risks and prioritization - Involvement of management in the audit plan - Process orientation - Audit criteria and planning - Method: weed, cultivate, dig - Query Intentions - Dealing with resistance - Reporting - Formulation of meaningful and useful risk-based deviations - Presentation of results Target group: The course is relevant for anyone who must lead and/or participate in internal audits of the management system according to one or more of the management system standards ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 etc. The course is aimed at employees in both certified companies and companies that simply work according to the management standards without being certified. Yield: On the course, you will have the opportunity to sharpen your auditor skills both in terms of the process and the human aspects of the role of auditor. The aim is that after the course you are ready to carry out effective internal audits based on your company's risk profile. It is recommended that, prior to participating in the course, you have a basic knowledge of the structure of the management system standards (High Level Structure) and requirements. Teaching method and teachers: The course is focused on you as a participant getting as much training as possible in the new things you have to learn. There will be short theoretical presentations and group work and exercises, and of course you will receive continuous feedback from your fellow students and the teacher on your performance. The theoretical part of the course is based on the audit guideline ISO 19011 and the standards for management systems (9001, 14001 and 45001). The instructors on the course are themselves leading auditors with many years of experience with audit and management systems.
