It is recommended that, prior to participation in this course, participants have a basic knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard, which can possibly be obtained by participating in the course: Introduction to information security according to ISO 27001. About the Auditor course - Information security The purpose of the course is to provide the participants with knowledge and training in the entire audit process. We focus on auditor tools, human qualities as an auditor and the understanding of a process-oriented management system. The participants are trained to plan, carry out and report internal audits of the information security system effectively, so that the company/organisation gets optimal benefit from the system. The theoretical part of the course is based on ISO 19011 and ISO 27001. Content: - Information security management, basic principles and brief review of the standard's main features, structure and interpretations - Process-oriented information security management - Audit of information security in accordance with the points of the standard - The human aspects of auditing - Preparation, implementation, reporting and follow-up of audits - Identification of deviations and improvements as well as the work with corrective actions - Internal audit as a management tool - Live audit in practice. The course is a combination of theory, practice and discussion. If you have no knowledge of ISO 27001, we recommend that you first attend the course Introduction to information security according to ISO 27001. Target group: - Must implement the requirements of the standard - Must conduct audits of a management system for information security - Must participate in building, developing or maintaining the company's management system for information security After the course you will have: - Received a brief review of the requirements of ISO 27001 - Obtained an overview of and thorough training in effective audits of the information security system as well as a course certificate as an internal auditor - Obtained the competence and the tools that are crucial for your company to get the optimal benefit from the internal audit of information security Introduction to information security according to ISO 27001. Teaching method: The teaching takes place as a combination of review, discussion and practical exercises. The instructors are themselves Lead Auditors and have extensive experience in ISO 27001 implementation and certification of both private and public organizations - and both are experienced instructors.
