About Course – Behavioral design and management systems On this course, you will get inspiration for how to set in motion a revolution in your management system based on the philosophy behind behavior design, nudging and people's different ways of thinking. You will be introduced to the theory of system 1 and system 2, we will go through a concrete model for organizing concrete behavior designs based on your existing management system, we will look at methods for "nudging" and discuss the limits of when something must be written down and when can design itself for compliance. And of course there are many practical exercises, so you leave the course with the ability to translate your own management system into usable designs in practice. Content: At the workshop, you will have the opportunity to gain a greater theoretical and practical understanding of: • What is the intention behind a management system and how is it built in practice? • How and when do rules become meaningful? • Differences between management and control – when is a procedure appropriate? • When should you design for compliance? • Interaction between motivation, the culture and the management system • What are nudging and barriers? – and when does it make sense to use nudging? • How is behavior designed and implemented in practice? On the course, the exercises will be based on your specific problems, which gives you the opportunity to train methods and techniques that you can subsequently use in your daily life. Target group: The course is aimed at anyone who works with management systems or is about to implement a management system and who wants a greater understanding of techniques and methods that can limit the scope of rules. Yield: After the course you will be able to: • design and implement appropriate procedures and instructions • think motivation into the management system • assess when nudging can be used concretely
