Is it a good or bad idea? Neither, if you ask Laust Lauridsen, author of the book "Experiment Beyond". An idea is an idea. Whether it is good or bad depends on what you see in the idea and how you treat it. Which again depends on how you are in the mood at the moment and what you are able to associate the idea with. Where one might spot the genius, another immediately discovers the disastrous. The idea is the same, the individual person's perception is just different. Transformative idea work is the brain-friendly approach to innovation and change. It is based on three insights: 1) There is a connection between the ideas we get and the people we are. 2) Our ambitions for the future and today's solutions are not connected. 3) We must develop ourselves in order to develop our ideas. The goal of transformative idea work is to be able to realize ideas that we usually call strange, weird and crazy, or that we too quickly dismiss as bad, stupid, unimportant or irrelevant.
