Jakob Hansen has participated in 5 Olympics and a number of World Championships and European Championships as a sports psychology consultant for several of Denmark's best athletes and national teams. He has worked with sports psychology and management psychology for 20 years.

Previously, Jakob was employed by Team Denmark, but is now a partner in the consulting company doubleyou, where he helps managers, athletes, performers and organizations across business, culture and sport to develop mental strength and sustainable performance cultures.

In his lectures, Jakob provides a fascinating insight into the psychology of performance, based on concrete stories from sports, performing arts and business, as well as the latest knowledge about what happens to our brain and body when we have to perform and put ourselves to the test as people. .

Jakob dispels many of the well-worn myths that characterize the field, and makes it concrete how you, as a performer, leader, team or organization that wants to be as good as possible, can benefit from the latest performance psychology methods.

Jakob Hansen har deltaget ved 5 OL og en række VM og EM som sportspsykologisk konsulent for flere af Danmarks bedste atleter og landshold. Han har arbejdet med sportspsykologi og ledelsespsykologi i 20 år.

Tidligere var Jakob ansat ved Team Danmark, men er nu partner i konsulentfirmaet doubleyou, hvor han hjælper ledere, atleter, performere og organisationer på tværs af erhvervsliv, kultur og sport med at udvikle mental styrke og bæredygtige præstationskulturer.

Based on his work as a sports and performance psychology consultant for a number of national teams, Jakob Hansen tells how business can be inspired by "the athlete journey" from talent to world-class athlete in sport, and how he applies a number of the principles to various talent development programs in business , which is aimed both at the talents, the talent managers and the organizational performance and talent development culture.

Through his work as a sports psychology consultant in Team Denmark, Jakob Hansen has been associated with a number of national teams and during that period has been involved as a mental coach and sparring partner at 5 Olympics and several European Championships and World Championships. 

Among other things, Jakob has helped the women's national team in handball, the national badminton team, the national table tennis team, the national curling teams and the national rowing team, where Jakob has been a close sparring partner for the national coaches and team members in developing world-class teamwork. 

Since 2018, Jakob has taken the methods into other industries and has used them in the development of teamwork and performance cultures in business life in management groups and teams.

The word achievement divides people. Some talk about 'high performance' as if achievements and results are the meaning of life. For others, performance is a buzzword associated with notions of people unconsciously spinning around on a treadmill. Both views are flawed and outdated. Achieving can never be an end in itself.
