With the lecture "Your teenager should be coached, not brought up", Arne Nielsson takes his point of departure from his best-selling book of the same name. His overall point is that you, as a parent, must change the way you act in relation to what is happening with your child, who is on his way into the ranks of adults. A period when your teenager needs to find his own identity, his own attitudes and is in the process of detaching himself from you as a parent, which is a hard process for many parents. At the lecture, you will gain inspiration, knowledge and understanding of what is happening to your teenager, why it is happening, what expectations the teenager has of your role, what you yourself can and should do, and how you as parents, couples, cohabitants or divorcees can and must provide guidelines for your teenagers.
