There is war in Europe - consequences and prospects

On February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin's Russia launched its war of aggression against Ukraine. The war continues. Thousands are dead and millions are on the run, and the war has significantly changed the security policy situation in Europe, and it has particularly hit the European economies hard. Economist Lars Christensen has followed economic and political developments in Central and Eastern Europe for more than 20 years, including as head of Emerging Markets analysis at Danske Bank (until 2015) and as founder and owner of the analysis company Markets and Money Advisory. Lars Christensen has a large network in Central and Eastern Europe and has traveled throughout the region - including in Ukraine and Russia. In the lecture, Lars gives an overview of the war, focusing primarily on the larger political and geopolitical implications as well as on the economic implications of the war. The lecture can of course be adapted to the individual audience's background and wishes. A special price for educational institutions can be requested.
