Allan is a process consultant, coach and lecturer. He is a piece of life and a fantastic communicator with the ability to transform difficult theory into exciting and powerful stories that speak directly into the audience's everyday life. Allan is engaging and highly humorous, and he leaves you inspired to take action.
At the age of 23, Allan was involved in a terrible car accident where a young man fell asleep in his car and hit the car Allan was driving. Allan's sister died, and Allan was so badly injured that the doctors did not give him much chance of survival. Despite the doctors' predictions, Allan came back to life, joy and drive. Allan's mantra is: It is not so important what happens to you as what you choose to do with it!

Allan er proceskonsulent, coach og foredragsholder. It is not about you, but about your attitude to the relationship and to the collaboration. And it starts with you and the areas where you have decisive influence to make a difference to community, relationships and collaboration. Many times we as individuals and professionals can have difficulty noticing that our own task solving or professionalism is not the task itself, but is just one of many significant contributions to the overall task. At the same time, most of us have a clear experience that we ourselves are quite formidable at collaborating, while the "other" has a lot to improve...

"I've tried to communicate, but he won't listen."

How is it that some employees create conflicts again and again? One of the reasons may be that we don't say what we think we are saying, but what the other person hears. Only when we recognize that others may have a completely different perception of what is said, can we succeed in communication. By giving each other "freedom to differ", we promote trust and respect.


The word communication comes from Latin: Communicare - "To make common". It is about willingness to dialogue, clarity and sustainable relationships. It's about saying what we mean in a way that connects us with the other party and thereby strengthens cooperation and creates common understanding.


Allan René Olesen talks about clear communication and appreciative communication, and explains how good and bad communication affect collaboration and the working environment differently.
