About Ulrik Wilbek

Until the Olympics in Beijing in 2008, Ulrik Wilbek had not coached a team in a WC, EC or Olympic final round without coming home with medals. This makes him one of the most successful Danish handball coaches ever. Ulrik has created unique results with the Danish national team - both women's and men's teams. Ulrik was previously sports manager at the Danish Handball Association. In addition, he was for a period a local politician in Viborg Municipality for the party Venstre. Ulrik has written books about management and his experiences from handball, which are instrumental in forming the fertile ground for his career as a lecturer. Ulrik Wilbek is today Mayor of Viborg Municipality and at the same time a sought-after speaker and lecturer.
