Om Travis Lacy

Travis Lacy is a trained TV and media organizer from Denmark's Media and Journalism College in Copenhagen with two stays abroad at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Concordia University in Montreal respectively. Through his education, he has specialized in the use of new technology for communication, with a particular focus on Virtual Reality. Since then, Travis has worked with a number of major organizations and companies to create contemporary Virtual Reality experiences. One of those projects was a collaboration with Fairtrade Denmark and Peter Larsen Kaffe. The purpose of the project was to use technology to reduce some of the distance between the people who grow our coffee in some of the world's poorest countries and us who drink the coffee here in our part of the world. After the launch, the film was shown at COP23 in Bonn, and it won a number of awards – including best marketing video for CopenX in 2017.
