Om Jørgen Leth
At the age of 82, Jørgen Leth has been with us 35 times, in connection with coverage of the Tour de France. His history with cycling goes all the way back to his childhood in Århus, where his uncle was the manager of Århus Cykelbane in the 1940s. He became known as a poetic cycling commentator on TV2 in the early 90s, with his partner Jørn Mader. In addition to his role as a cycling commentator, Jørgen is both a writer and film director. He has written and directed over 40 feature films and documentaries. Including "The Perfect Human" and a documentary film about cycling.
