Jens Veggerby is best known as one of the biggest cycling stars of the 80s and 90s - including the 6-day race, which he rode 126 times and won 13 times. As a professional cyclist, he also rode the Tour 2 and the Giro 5 times. After his professional career, he served as a commentator for major sporting events. In the media and in the public, Veggerby has gained a special connection to the case regarding IT Factory's bankruptcy in 2008. In his lecture, he talks about the friendship with the convicted fraudster and then director of the company, Stein Bagger, with whom there was a relationship that ended up costing Jens on both a financial and personal level. Jens Veggerby has recovered from his encounter with perhaps the biggest swindler in Danish history, but the experience will stay with him for the rest of his life.
