Jens started as an economics student at A.P. Møller, and from here moved on to IBM, which was the icon in the computer industry in the 80s and where Jens got his first managerial job at the age of 26. Here, Jens found out that management and technology would become central elements in his career. That brought him on to Microsoft, where Jens was for 14 years – first in Nordic jobs, then CEO of Microsoft Denmark and later as responsible for Western Europe. For the last 4 years at Microsoft, Jens was Corporate Vice President, part of Microsoft's top management and chiefly responsible for the American sales force. Jens is today, among other things, chairman of the board of Grundfos Holding A/S and Goldman Sachs-owned Adapteo. Jens has written 4 critically acclaimed books on management.
