About Henrik Fisker

Henrik Fisker is synonymous with iconic cars, and is one of the leaders in the development of electric cars with his passion for technology and futuristic design. As a designer and entrepreneur, Fisker is risk-taking, innovation-loving and challenging, and manages to turn dreams into reality and never give up. He is the man behind some of the most emotionally appealing vehicles ever created and hence his iconic position within the industry. The world's first luxury plug-in hybrid "Fisker Karma", was launched in 2011, where Henrik's creative genius was demonstrated when he created an electric vehicle with astonishing proportions integrated with sustainable innovation, such as a full-length sunroof, vegan interior and adjustable regenerative braking. Additionally, he spearheaded the development of the BMW Z8 sports car featured with James Bond behind the wheel in the 1999 film The World Is Not Enough. As CEO of BMW Designwork USA, his development of the BMW Z07 concept took and the Z8 Roadster took the world by storm, while his roles as board member and design director at Aston Martin resulted in its reversal through the famous DB9/V8 Vantage era.   Fisker was born in Denmark, but lives in the USA. His many global entrepreneurial endeavors have marked his current role as chairman and CEO of Fisker Inc., his second automotive company founded in 2016. Most recently, Fisker joined the board of a cobalt mining exploration company, First Cobalt Corp, to strengthen ethical and sustainable cobalt mining for battery production. With the mission "To make the impossible possible", Fisker's world-class and disruptive scientific and technological design development within the automotive industry is making mass-market car electrification a reality: from patents on cutting-edge Fisker Solid-State battery technology to major alliances with automotive energy and consumer technology entities that aim to change it way the world imagines life in the future.
