Daniel Rye is one of Denmark's most recognized lecturers. The expression the pin effect makes sense when you have heard Daniel. Because no matter what he talks about, you can hear a pin drop to the ground in a packed lecture hall. Daniel's experience as a speaker starts with his incredible delivery of an almost impossible story about the 398 days he was held hostage by the Islamic State. But even though Daniel made it home alive, the story haunted him for a long time. In addition to that, Daniel also works intensely to document climate change as a photographer. Especially with a starting point in humans. Since 2016, Daniel has been following a family in Malawi who live in a town that is being swallowed up by the nearby river. A struggle for survival between drought and flood. Daniel has an almost inexhaustible backpack of incredible life considerations and experiences, but that is why he still insists not on teaching, but on telling the personal story.
