In 1992, Bob Geldof established his name as a recognized businessman with his co-ownership of the TV production Planet 24, which started as Planet Pictures back in the 80s. The production company was a frontrunner in morning TV with "The Big Breakfast" in 1992. Planet 24 was sold to Carlton TV. In the late 90s, when Bob experienced problems booking a family vacation over the Internet, he started the online travel agent Deckchair.com together with James Page. Subsequently, in 1999, he started Ten Apls Communications with Alex Connock. Ten Alps was a huge success and has produced several successful documentaries. Bob has, among many other awards, been nominated several times to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. As a speaker, Bob Geldof is extremely competent and receives only high ratings.
